Who we are

This policy describes how Klausway, operating as ApronConnect (“we,” “us”), handles personal information when you use www.apronconnect.com, restaurant storefronts we host, and related services. Questions: hello@apronconnect.com.

Information we collect

• Account & restaurant data — Name, email, password (hashed), restaurant profile, menu content, hours, branding assets, and subscription plan details when you create or manage an owner account.
• Guest order data — Name, contact details, order contents, and pickup notes that guests submit on a restaurant’s storefront. Guests typically pay the restaurant in person; we do not process guest card payments for pay-at-pickup orders.
• Billing data — Restaurant subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (for example, customer and subscription IDs and status). Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers.
• Technical data — IP address, device/browser type, and basic usage logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

• Provide storefronts, menus, order tickets, and owner dashboards.
• Bill restaurants for subscriptions and manage plan entitlements.
• Communicate about accounts, security, product changes, and support.
• Protect the service against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• Improve reliability and features using aggregated or de-identified signals where practical.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers who help us run ApronConnect (for example Stripe for restaurant subscriptions, email delivery, and hosting/infrastructure), under contracts that limit use to providing those services. Restaurant owners see guest order details needed to fulfill pickup. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

Retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal and accounting requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

Restaurant owners can update account and menu data in the dashboard. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, email hello@apronconnect.com. We may need to verify the request and retain certain records when the law requires it.

Children

ApronConnect is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
